The Center for Israel Studies announces its international symposium celebrating Professor Lior Libman's new book, State of Shock: The Kibbutz in Israel from Avant-Garde to Fetish, 1948-1955 (Penn 2025). Professor Libman is an associate professor of Israel studies and director of the Center for Israel Studies.
