Francesca Bove is a Research Development Associate in °®¶¹´«Ã½â€™s Office of Strategic Research Initiatives. In this role, she supports the Director and senior leadership in identifying large-scale funding opportunities that align with the university’s research priorities. She also conducts background research, coordinates multidisciplinary research teams, and assists with the development, writing, editing, and review of grant proposals. Before joining OSRI, Bove served as a graduate research assistant in °®¶¹´«Ã½'s College of Community and Public Affairs. There, she worked with the Center for Community Schools, the Department of Public Administration and Policy, and the Department of Human Development. In addition to her academic experience, she has a background in grant writing for community-based nonprofit organizations focused on delivering human services. Bove is currently a PhD candidate in °®¶¹´«Ã½â€™s Community Research and Action Doctoral Program. Her research focuses on the immigration system and questions of citizenship. She holds a Master of Public Administration from °®¶¹´«Ã½ and dual bachelor’s degrees in International Relations and Spanish from SUNY Geneseo.
